 Hey guys,
I am looking for opinions about your favorite (or preferred) method of concealed carry, and which holster(s) you recommend. It's a buyer's jungle out there and I don't want to be stung. Any input is appreciated.

I like belt slide types. My frame just isn't suited to a comfortable carry iwb and paddle types just aren't secure enough to my tastes.

I don't do IWB - like ngcsubutterbar, my frame just doesn't work with IWB.

For an excellent OWB leather slide:

Not cheap, but top notch.
Custom molded leather (to your model gun).
Get it lined.
Forget the horsehide.
Color is up to you.

Both the Sky High and the Slide Guard are excellent choices:

For my G22 or G27 I either use the C-TAC holster for IWB carry, its made by Comp-tac, or for belt carry I have an Aker Flatsider that I love.

Thanks guys,
I have a Bianchi Black Widow for the Para Carry 12, and I also picked up a Fobus Roto-holster, but for the Glock 23 I just purchased, I'm at a loss so far. I've been looking at High Noon, but haven't decided anything yet.

Another question,
I know a guy who wants to get rid of an SOB holster. Is it just me, or is sob a pia (pain in the a$$)? Just looking for opinions. This is a $90 holster (manufactured by Galco), but I don't know if I could deal with it. It looks like you could be injured if you fell while wearing this device. Answers of positive or negative nature are appreciated.

Listen to me carefully. THROW THE FOBUS CRAP AWAY!

FOBUS ain't bad for concealed off duty carry. It's too cheap to trust to overt carrying where someone might grab for it. I'm not jumping fences and chasing people off duty either.

So, in some foreign tongue, FOBUS means excrement?:(

I''m still trying to find the right off duty holster for me. I have a Sig239. The problem is that I have a tiny waist and when I wear the leather holster that slides on my belt, it doesn't fit on my side...ok, my waist is very tiny. I have to practically have it behind me. Any suggestions?

Hey, there's nothing wrong with a little creative editing of another person's post for personal gratification, is there? :D
