I am looking for a Jotto Desk or similar vehicle computer mount for a laptop to fit into a 2004 GMC Yukon. I've done a Google search, found Jotto brand for $299, but I have a hard time believing they have to cost that much. If anyone knows of any surplus or similar mounts, please advise. The Gizmos that turn the passenger seat into a desk top will not work since it will be occupied.

I just recently purchased a jotto desk for my vehicle. I am very pleased with its performance and ease of use. Word of advice...do not try to install it yourself, get it done by someone in the business.

Where did you find one for 150?!?!.....even without the screen mount and keyboard light it's still 250 something....btw the one in the link pic is a universal....for him I would suggest a specific gmc/chevy mount.

I've found the jotto mount for my vehicle at www.gomobilenow.com but they still want $280 for my specific vehicle. I don't want to drill into my POV. These mount to the pass front seat bolts. I am simply stunned at the cost.

Planning on checking with my former agency's radio shop, who does their installs... maybe they have an extra junker or a discounted one and I can just get the base @ $105. I don't need a screen mount or keyboard light... I have a USB light and my POV doesn't have a cruisers heavy duty suspension.

$315 ?!? Not in my budget. I might have to tap into a metal fabricator I know for the base, but I wouldn't expect to have it by June...

The one I linked is $150. The holes are easy to drill and when you remove it you simply vacuum the carpet and you can't tell it was there.
