Greetings!

I am new to the board. I have been married 5 years to my Sarge, but we've been together for 13 years. Our department just went through a very tragic death by friendly fire. I am having a tough time dealing with it. I thought maybe talking about it with others may help. Jo

I just wanted to welcome you to the board. I've never had an experience with a loss due to friendly fire; however, my hubby did have a difficult time with a horrific traffic crash. I'm here to listen....please feel free to chat!

Hello, this is only my second post, so I am new here too.
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. In the police department that my dad worked for we had an officer take his own life, and it was a very difficult time for the department as well as the families of other officers. It is like they say, A police department is just an extended family. My thoughts are with you and the department.
I am now dating a commander for a drug task force team and I am so glad I found this site.

Thanks for the welcome, I love this site, everyone seems very nice. I am going to tell my aunt about it so she can visit too. My uncle is a deputy for the sheriffs department and I think my aunt would enjoy it as much as I am.
