Well, I guess im turning into a review junkie? That's OK though, I enjoy doing them.
Still have a few things to try with this stuff.

I have had two Uncle Mikes Holsters for about 4 months on my belt.
One is the Scorpion light holster, which houses my Inova X5.
The other is the oc holster which houses my Coptop Fox spray.


Price: Very inexpensive.
Appearance: Low
Durability: Good (based on short term)
Ergonomics/Ease of use: Mediocre
Compatibility: Dont ask:eek:

Overall:
This is good gear for those on a tight budget.
If looks are unimportant, and you will not be putting it thru hell every shift.
Some big issues with the OC holster: I have two cans in the pic, one Fox coptop and one Mace brand 10% foam with flip top, the Fox spray sits very nice in the is holster but the Mace brand...you have to take the plastic insert out to use that can..not good.
The lightholder: Not bad, fits my Inova X5T very good. Snap can very unreliable when it is freezing out. (opened by itself twice)
Another thing I do not like is the nylon backing/belt loop. They slide all over the belt unless you have the inner belt on.
The quality is so so, these products are not molded, often the belt loops are sewn on at wierd angles.
The spray holster in the pic has hit the ground very hard. trashing it somewhat but it still held up.

Good for the money, But I will be upgrading all my gear to Bianchi Accumold (My baton holster)
Out of 5 Stars, 5 being the best...I give the light holster 3 stars and the OC holster 2.

Things missing are my Galls Thumbreak Holster and Galls radio Holster (in locker)

Do you seriously use that many keepers? :confused: Without the weight of a gun?

And you need a new buckle with the locking mechanism still intact. There's a purpose to that middle button that is broken on yours, and that's to keep someone from reaching in and squeezing your release tabs and yanking your belt off, disarming you.

I had the keepers on that rig due to the fact that my inner belt somehow got packed(moving) So I use two keepers to hold the outerbelt to my leather garrison belt, without the velcro inner belt my O ring holder and cuff strap slide all over the place, was playing with a way to keep em in place.

This belt is a strange Bianchi spinoff, The lock does work fine, however after lighting up the inside a few minutes ago and really looking at it I really really question its holding power.
When I had my scuffle a week ago this belt was grabbed by the subject that slammed me using the belt for leverage.
Looking at it I cannot understand how it did not break or come apart.

Might look for a very sturdy buckle, maybe metal, or just a whole new belt.

If you're gonna go nylon, my opionion is Uncle Mike's is crap. Start replacing things one thing at a time. Your first purchase should be an Accumold belt. Everything else is paramount on your belt being secure.
