I was home sick this weekend so I thought I'd work on a new project. I saw this vehicle at the COPS West show and it looked like an interesting car to reproduce.

What the heck?! When did the dept. get one of those toys? I thought only LAPD had that program around here?! I hope the contract city paid for that car. There are LASD Deputys willing to drive that thing? I'm making some phone calls. :D

What is that? Does the car recognize certain license plates and then alert the driver? Never seen or heard anything like that before.

The bazooka looking roof mounts are digital cameras. The cameras constantly scan for license plate information and feeds/compares that info to the DMV/LEO computer link-up located in the trunk. If a positive match for stolen or unregistered plate is found, an alert is sent to the inboard MDC.
A flaw exists in the system. Think about it for a little while and you will come up with the right fit puzzle piece flaw also. ;)
