At my crappy job we have been through like 20 employees in the last 2 months. Now half of them stole items and half stole cash. Now we have this one guy, who is a burnout.. you can tell by just looking at him. Anyways I was comming back from my nightly jog the other night to find him in his friends car smoking weed while on the clock. So I went to my boss and told her what I saw, and being a trustworthy employee I thought she would protect my identity. Oh no she decided to tell him what was said and that I said it. So oh well on my part just a pothead no biggie right? Come to find out yesterday that he is into meth, I am not really sure about how bad, but usually meth heads around here know alot of people which worries me. Now I already quit that lame job, because my boss is a freakin retard and for my saftey. Sadly I still do not feel that much more safe, is there any steps I should take to make sure I don't get shot or something of the like?
Please don't insult me, I have accutally never had a problem like this before..

We're not out to insult anyone.

This guy worked for your former employer, since you have left your job, do you see him anymore? Is there anything he has done since you left that makes you feel like he is going to retaliate for reporting him?

Meth heads usually don't care about anything but smoking Meth. If he is just a druggie and you don't think he has been violent towards anyone, then I don't think you will have too much to worry about. If he is smoking Meth, he probably won't last too much longer at his job.

If he has done specific things to threaten you or put you in fear for your safety, then you need to report it to the local authorities. Otherwise, there isn't much you can do.

Well when i go past the store (cant miss it i live like 2 blocks away) if he see's me I get this nasty look from him. That's not what really worries me, I do know he has a background but not sure of what is there. I don't think he knows where I live either which is a good thing.
Oh and I almost forgot to mention, he still works there..

Thanks for the advice!
