recently i was stopped riding my 2 stroke KTM dirtbike in the public streets. i have no motorcycle license and it is not registerd for the street.
the cop gave me a break because he could see that it was wet and i just got done washing it plus i was wearing protective gear.
What is the legality on this?
i am told i could have had my license suspended for riding it on the street from my friend?
1. You cant ride an unlicensed, unregistered, uninsured, uninspected bike and no cycle license.
2. You can't wash your bike at home ?
3. I would have given you an armload of tickets and yes it would have caused a suspension. And I would have had your cycle towed at your expense.
It is unwise, illegal and downright dangerous to do what you did.
Reach down, grab yourself by the "lapels", throw your self up against the wall and smack yourself upside your head.

One of the major things is dirt bikes are in no way, shape, or form street legal.
To be legal, you'd need to be put on head lights, tail lights, turn signals, a license plate, have it registered, and all that good stuff. Why would you do that to a perfectly good dirt bike when you could buy a motorcycle made for the road?
