For all of you "better halves" that will be spending Thanksgiving day alone, and all of you LEOs who will have to work, or even to those who get the day together, Have a Wonderful, safe and happy holiday. This is the first year (ever) my LEO will be spending Thanksgiving with me. That alone is the biggest thing to be thankful for. But I thank all of the LEO's out there keeping us safer and all of the better halves for dealing and helping others deal. Thank you and god bless. :D

I will be working on Thanksgiving, however that is no big deal. Having my family to come home to everyday and being given the opportunity to make it home safe every night is thanks enough for me.

This year I was supposed to go into work Thanksgiving night, but amazingly my guy and I were both able to get it off. We had already planned to celebrate Wed, but now we can celebrate on the actual day, which is very rare.

I am working turkey day but, we are bringing in families to the firehouse to eat together.
