So... is anyone planning on playing Everquest 2 or Worlds of Warcraft?

I played EQ1 for 5 years =) and personally wont buy another Sony online game. But I was in the friends and family alpha test, and all of the Betas for Worlds of Warcraft and I cannot wait for 11/22 when it goes live.

Anyone else into online gaming and planning on playing? :)

Never played EQ1, but I know a few people who have. They are currenly leaving SWG (which I currently play) for EQ2. Other MMO's I've played were AO and L2 (which sucked). I play SWG as often as I can, but that hasn't been a lot lately :(

My dad plays SWG, (yes, my 62 year old dad!) and we got it for my son for Xmas. I beta tested AO, DAoC... and a couple of others I cant remember at the moment =P

I really enjoy WoW... it doesnt have the time commitment of EQ... you can log in for a half hour and feel like youve actually done something =)

Played DAoC until my friends went back to EQ, EQ1 for 3 years, PlanetSide for a couple months, and now the WoW beta. Loving WoW, and probably will buy the collectors edition. Playing as Strijder (dwarven hunter), Tisiphone, Alecto, and Megaera (the 3 furies) on Test1.

I'll never play an EQ game again... hated the timesinks, petty issues, and the way their content ripped apart our casual family guild in favor of the 20hr a week power-guilds. WoW sounds sooo much better so far, but I don't have much time to spare lately.

I'm heavily into WoW right now, i love it! It's the only mmorpg i have ever played though.

I suppose so... Im a chick and Im a gamer =)... and when I was in EQ I was in a power gaming guild. Strijder might remember Luclin from EQ... We were the third guild ever to beat Seru=) What server were you on Strijder? E'ci here....

I havent played much WOW lately (not since there were only 2 servers... regular beta and PVP... but am/was Willowsong/Rowansong. Night Elf rogue/druid Our alliance guild there is Grim Intentions.=)

I wasnt in Recon ;)

I was in what was fondly called, Some Alliance =P A group of 3 guilds, Sacrament of Chaos, Last Hope and Forlorn=) We had a lot of server firsts too=)

I am all about WoW, my gf, best friend, and online friend from EQ (played EQ 4+ years, PlanetSide on and off for over a year) are all going to be in WoW. EQ2 is pretty, but I hate the animations (very robotic) and don't want another time sink. I played FFXI, and KNOW how annoying time sinks are ;-)

I played SWG for about a year, off and on. Pushing F12 over and over got old though. It was more like a Star Wars-themed chat room.

I played UO for 3 years and quit. I now play on a free server run by a private party. uogamers.com ! it is loads of fun. pm me if you wanna play with me!
