Delaware: met & married there, had first child and moved within 20 months

Washington State: 2 and 1/2 years here and another child later time to move again

Pennsylvania: Lived here for 2 months while he applied with Baltimore City, he was accepted and we headed south.....

Georgia: Woops! Must've missed a turn!?!?! Hubby didn't have a good feeling about the department so we just kept driving and ended up in Georgia for 5 years

Virginia: Worked for the Park Police for two years and then guess what???? Transferred out.....

West Virginia: Isn't this just more west than Virginia???? Really!!! ALMOST one year later......

Virgin Islands: It's damn hot.....but if I know my husband, it'll be time to move before I get heat rash. I would love to see the inside of a Wal-Mart right about now. Luckily, our next move will be to our permanent location in northern Florida, southern Georgia. Unless he desides to go with ATF. Who knows with him????

So......has anyone else moved nearly as much as this???? What are your thoughts on moving? Do you think it more fortunate or unfortunate? Thanks for sharing.

That's just stating our moves broadly.....LMAO. As far as local moves within these duty stations(not counting the move there), Washington we moved once, Georgia we moved 3 times, West Virginia we moved once, and since we've been here on St. John....we just moved from our initial quarters. URGH!!! Last count, that was 13 moves in 10 years. I need a break.

LMAO...no kidding. This last trip, we only unpacked what we need. It's very hot here so we just kept our clothes boxed up, wrapped them in plastic and shoved them in the storage room. We were here for about a month before our household goods showed up.....we planned for that so we already have clothes out. I was so glad to not unpack that stuff.....less laundry is always good news.
