Is there not some expectation of privacy in respect to a person in custody?

In Canada, whomever is in custody is considered confidental, until that person is compelled to court..? Then it becomes public knowledge

apparantly not in Anderson County :)

The only thing more boring than watching the inmate while I am in book-in would have to be watching them on my pc at home.

Of course I guess all the moronic baby's mommas would stop standing across from the S.O. jail and yelling up at the prisoners. I mean how frickin embarassing is it to have a city center where most of your business is bail bond companys and most of the foot traffic is baby mommas with their ghetto fabulous kids waving at daddy (or so they think).

Yes they can yell down through cracks between the glass and the wall where caulk has been picked out. And our sheriff is too cheap to tint the windows or staff the jail to control the prisoners to keep them from talking. 2 jail deputies per 75 prisoners. Nice huh?

Oh just give him the 10 codes all the real criminals know them anyways from experience, so his lack of knowledge is proof of innocence, lol.

It is always funny to watch the new trainees. Because they will be on a call with a career criminal and dispatch will say something like "10-9". The new trainee hasn't a clue and will be looking at daddy FTO for advise. But then the career criminal will jump in and say "My N@##@, dey want you to say that s@$# again, yo." Funny stuff, happened to me too.

Besides that the code for warrant check is useless. As soon as the suspect hears "showing a 99" and you blink it is like "whaaa, where did he go...damn street monster must have gotten him. Oh well, 10-5 ref. warrants, 10-8."
