My fiance's ex-wife is always calling the cops to my home. For no reason. She makes up stuff just to cause inconveinence for our home. They come knocking on the door randomly, asking if we are fighting, or arguing, when we could be at home just having a nice conversation about our fish tanks.... or they will come knocking on our door asking us if we are supposed to have returned her son to her... when it's not even time yet.... I'm sick of the cops always knocking on our doors, and im sick of our children that lives in the home always having to see them here and being asked questions by them.... What can I do? I already got a ppo against her because she illegally entered my home without ANYONES permission..... and then assaulted my boyfriend.... and she just doesn't stop. We have lived in this specific apartment for 8 months, and the cops have been here like 30 times.... its getting annoying....

How do we know it's her?

Start documenting it. As annoying as it is to you, it's also annoying to the cops who's time is getting wasted with her BS. Keep a log, and show it to the officers as they show up. Eventually, it will come back to bite her in the *** if she's making false reports.

We know it's her because they actually let us know.... When they knock on our door they will say "we got a call saying that there was arguing and commotion going on here and we are just trying to make sure everything is ok" and when we give them a dumb founded look and say "uhhh, no..... who would even call you guys when we aren't even having any disagrrements or anything, today has been fine", because we live in a small town (hudsonville MI) they just say "well we got a call from a Kristen" and then we just look at eachother with "that look" and let them know everything is fine, or they are coming about her child in common with my fiance' when its not even his drop off time yet. but thank you. I will start logging it and letting them know that its BS that I have to waste my time talking with them instead of spending a lovely weekend with the kids....

You might contact a supervisor or command person at the police station after you've logged a few and explain to them what's happening. Perhaps they can have their dispatch screen those calls.
