For my partner who was on my side for 29 years. We had 16 years on patrol, 8 years as community policing officers and the last five years in our warrant and street crime team together. His funeral will be this comming friday.

Rest in peace my friend. I hope you'll find what you missed with us!

Thanks to all of you. Dolli (his nickname in our dept.) was one of the best cops I met in my 33 years career, we fought so much fights together, safed our asses out there, back uped us in uncountable nights, made so much arrests together - we tried to give our citizens a safer world. And after so much years he don't pushed the emergency button and called for my help when his life broke together. And it so easy for a cop to leave so much broken hearts and souls when he finished his life by himself. Now after 12 days I really don't know how to handle this situation. I hoped that I can find my freedom yesterday when I was at his funural, but my wife, the best wife of all in the world, told me that I had very bad dreams last night. And also today I had wet eyes a couple of times and bad, bad thoughts. But I hold myself busy, make 12-13 hour shifts in a logistic unit in this moment. So I don't have to look at his desk in our bureau daily.

It happens way to often to LE in U.S. and is underreported. I hope you and your department have counseling available and I hope you you can reassure the best wife in the world and loved ones that your 12-13 hour shifts are your way of healing and not have them worry you are on that same path. More prayers sent for you and yours.
