Hi my name is Guadalupe and i recently was at a friends house waiting for my mom to pick me and my brother and sister up. there they have a very Crazy aunt! Well the problem was that they had a huge argument and in that argument it Lead to the aunty throwing my ipad down the stairs! I was at the bottom of the stairs when all of a sudden i heard a big "thunk" and found out it was my ipad! My mom was there when she heard the screams so she came in and i told my mom that the aunty threw my ipad down the stairs! I checked to see if my ipad was ok and no she damged it! The ipad was a gift from my parents for my birthday and they barly had money to buy it so that really got me so upset and angry! Becuase i didnt do anything to her so she could just break my ipad just like that! And i asked the aunt why she had done that if it wasnt hers and all i got from her was that she didnt care if she damaged it or not and isnt going to pay anything! So my question was that what can i do to make her pay for my ipad??? I am so upset right now becuase i just dont get why she had to damage my ipad! In the pictures you can see where in the corner it is bent and opened!
So please help me!

Here she could be criminally charged. Or she could be sued for the damage. If found guilty/liable, both avenues will force her to pay for the damage.

Although you'd have to deal with the resulting family problems.

Sue her in small claims court......since your a minor you parents have to do it on your behalf but you will be the party present. She has civil liability and you will win in court.

Check how mom and dad paid....sometimes their credit cards (like American Express) cover mishaps or extend the warranty. American Express has replaced many items for me.

When everything calms down try to talk with her about it. If that fails - go to Small Claims Court or The People Court (http://peoplescourt.warnerbros.com/contact.html)
