I'm from the Tidewater area of Virginia. (I know, they call it Hampton Roads now, but I still call it Tidewater sometimes!). I technically live in Portsmouth, VA
I've been visiting these forums for a while, trying to get an idea of how LE works and how the general public views it. I consider myself pro-LE, but I must say that I am still quite ignorant about certain things. I will admit up-front that a lot of my perception of law enforcement officers has been shaped by the media. I want to change that by being here.
So I joined as a way of showing my appreciation for all the hard work that you all put in every single day, and the ways that you put your lives on the line for the rest of us.
