I am an English Police Sergeant who is new to collecting police hats and I am hoping to find someone willing to trade a traditional (but current issue) West Yorkshire Police custodian helmet (the British bobbies helmet) in exchange for an NYPD eight point hat - Ideally a Sergeant hat but I would be very satisfied with a patrolmans cap (with badge etc)
I met some NYPD officers a few years ago in NY whilst on vacation and found them all to be very welcoming and friendly to an English cop.
Is anyone willing?
