I've had a pretty bad home life. I'm adopted etc. It was never the best... I'm 5 months from 18 and I honestly don't know how much longer i can last is it legal for me to leave?
What state?
Without elaborating on some details of why home life is so bad, it'll be hard to garner much empathy to your cause.

I'm betting he/she lives in Florida since it's in the Florida state forum.
If you're not yet 18, then no, you can't just up and leave, as you're still considered a minor. Wait the 5 months (you've put up with it this long, you should be able to for another short, 5 month period) and then move out on your 18th birthday.

Dunno your situation, but there are plenty of kids in foster care that would love the chance to get adopted instead of moving from home to home. Very few are raised with "the best." Even parents are human...
I showed my parents , I went in the military at age 17. !
By the way , what is so bad about your home life ?

Finish school, move out when your 18. In Florida you can't move out until you are 18. However you can join the military....

I believe you still need parental permission to join at 17.

You do. But it may be worth a shot to the OP.
