Hey, whats up everyone. I'm looking for anyone who has taken NYPD Exam 1315...we should stay in touch...say whats up...and pass on any information to one another as time goes by and the NYPD decided to give us clues on what the deal is. my list number is 1xx. I'm an active duty Marine with an expiring contract this summer, and am currently stationed in Hawaii. Looking forward to meeting potential recruit mates in the near future. good luck to all of you.

Hey guys. I took 1315 too, I got my list # a few months ago. I don't really know when processing would start or even what the exact process is. This is the first forum that I've joined, and just want to feel in the loop. Cant wait to get things rolling.

didnt exactly ace the exam. I was illegally parked so i was rushing trying to not get a ticket. on a brighter note i was the first one out...but i still got a parking ticket. ended up with list number 942. should i retake the exam or would that just take even longer to get called than just waiting for 1315 to get called?

Don't forget to pay the ticket.

I just spoke with someone from the NYPDrecruit website who said they will call exam 1315 2 years after the date you took the exam. that seems quite long

When was the 1315 exam? I just took 2052 exam and now im wondering how long it will take to start the
process for 2052 if 1315 is not even being processed yet.. lol

I got my APD letter on 9/10/2012 and completed on 9/14/2012. Waiting for whatever is next.

Hey, everyone! I also got my APD letter the other day. I just wanted to know how serious they are about
the family questions like whos your uncle, aunt, step parent etc...what if i dont keep in touch with some
relatives...do i still need to include them down on the form?

Also, does anyone know what difference does list number make, whether your list #12 or list #1200?

Hey, you should deffinatly be expecting it soon. I have already gotten mine but my list
Number is in the 70's. i heard they are expecting to hire a large class but this is all just talk for now; but if they do im expecting our exam number to be called for the July 2013

Sooo, I called APD, said "i haven't gotten my APD-5 yet, should I have??" They said... " yeah, you didnt receive it?? Go online and do it right now you have like one day to do it... long story short I did it... Dont know why i didnt get a letter though

Good luck to you! Its a good thing that you called them. They are so unpredictable. Always stay on top of them. Did you by any chance ask whats next? Or when they might place us
in to a academy?

I tried my hardest to get some info from APD when I called them today to ensure they got my APD-5. I asked them what the chances were of getting to our exam by the January class, she said she has no idea, also no idea of the july class. She said to just sit back and wait for a letter to do a medical. I told her I was getting married in February and if she could please give me at least an educated guess, in which her response was, "congrats.... I still have no idea, there are a lot of exams ahead of yours, its impossible for me to say at this time weather or not we will get to your exam for the Jan class." sooo.... im hoping for july, it feels to me like they are really pushing to fill up this Jan class.

Congrats!!! But yeah, i dont think we have a chance for the January but for some reason my intuition is set on July! i guess we will just have to wait for the medical now...

hey list number 81 took exam 1315 and im wondering if they ask for my medical in january can i hold it off til they get to my number again? and if so how around how long would it take for them to get back to me? just curious because not sure how long i want to stay in school or go straight into the force lol thank you

Hey everyone Im class 1305 so right before you.....and I was a walk in on 9/2010. I got my APD 5 on 2.26.2012 and filed it on 3.6.2012. Ive been told that it takes 6months to recieve your medical letter from the day u filed your APD. A few months after that I was told that our letters will be mailed out by Nov.1st. And if we dont get it then we will be in the June 2013 class. So you guys have a long wait. Heres some good news...ive been told that its going to be a big class but I also know that the class before mine 1302.... has left over hires who are waiting for medical as well. So im assuming here but if uyour list number is low....depending on how many people they hire ...u might have a chance to be with the class 1302..and 1305.

On a seperate note...they are finishing building a new academy in queens and ive been told that thats the delay. If thats true then its going to be a huge class.

I also took 1315. Put in APD5 and awaiting further instructions. The january 2013 class is being pushed
back I think 3-4 weeks. I am hoping to be in the July-August class. Cause I will be 35 in July. Fingers crossed.

Hey guys, so it is confirmed that the January 2013 academy will start on the 9th. Our exam #1315 is waiting on the paperwork for the medical which i believe we should get anytime
between now and march! Im really excited and hoping that July 2013 will be our chance!

I called APD, they told me that if our number is low enough for 1315, we should get a letter for medicals shortly (within the next 2-3 months) After that things should really get moving for July. I would love for that to be the case, could not be more excited for this. Good luck guys!

Hey that's great news! Thanks...My list number is in he 70's so I'm staying positive! Hopefully we get the Medicals sometime between February and March. It seems like so far away when we are so close!!!! I'm so excited as well and I can't wait till it gets going! I'll
keep you updated if I find out something new!

id assume within 3-4 weeks or less.. 1305-1315, are only a month apart in testing time, and even with the apd-5 we only got our less than one month after they received theirs. theres about 2-3 test ahead of us, but we are within the top 3-4 test for july, assuming all is good with med, oral, jst, mini, we should be good for july. hang tight and keep your nose clean

Was anyone on an outstanding certification and now isn't. Anyone hear any updates on the medical for our exam?

I just met someone who took the test in December 2010, so 3 months before us, and they are beginning to process him for the July Academy. He said it is happening pretty quickly! Its all conjecture, but doesn't it seem like test 1315 from March 2011 will be more likely for the January 2014 Academy?

Hello fellow 1315s.

I have a question about my ADP if anyone help me. I was studying abroad when my ADP notice came in the mail. I arrived back in the States in February and filled it out promptly. It was due last September though. Its now April and I havent heard anything yet so im worried my tardiness may have doomed me. Im list number 5## and was looking forward to it for a long time. Has anyone heard from the medical/ pre-interview stage?
