Hello All,

I keep in shape with a regular training regimen throughout the year, however, I've stepped it up a bit in recent weeks because I have the PAT test for Stockton Police Department this month on the 22nd.

Does anyone have any information on what the test is like and what tasks will need to be performed? Is anyone else on the board scheduled to take the test as well? I have been unable to locate any information online and I was hoping someone knew something before I contact the recruiting unit.

Just trying to get a heads up as to what, specifically, I should be ready to expect. Thank you all for the information!

Why not call them? People are spoiled and stuck when some info isn't on line. I'm sure they will tell you and not mind it at all.

It's basic stuff. An obstacle course consisting of scaling a 6 foot wooden fence and dragging a 165 lbs dummy a couple feet. Once you pass that portion, you move on to the 500 yard run.
