You can call me BlueDogPup, or Blue. I am a junior (edit: now a senior) in high school who is currently on the path to a future job in Law Enforcement! My preferred choice of department is the LAPD.
I love the subject of law enforcement- it's one of my favorite topics. I also enjoy collecting Law Enforcement memorabilia and following the latest LE news. (Also am a total Crown Victoria P71 fanatic)
I plan on going to MidState Technical College to get my associate's degree in Criminal Justice-aw Enforcement and then going to apply for the LAPD. Why do I want to become a police officer? Because I like to help people and get involved with my community, the concerns of the citizens and the safety and protection of innocent lives. I have always had respect and support for the local law enforcement and think I could help make a difference in people's lives as an officer of the law. I would always strive to give 100% to see justice served and lives saved!
I like that the LAPD has several different divisions such as K-9, mounted patrol and dive squad. K-9 and mounted would be cool to work in, since I am very good with dogs- I train them in my spare time, and I also ride and work with horses. However, I am most interested in regular patrol work. I also have a passion for crime-solving, and think it would be interesting- in the later years of my career to work as a detective with RHD (Robbery-Homicide Division). Cold cases also tend to pique my interests! Well, that's all I can think of for now...
