We've had the same problem here, as the Department changed globally from one leather belt / leather holster combination to an additional big nylon-belt / safariland holster combination.

Many female Officers had hip-problems with the new belts. The Departmend exchanged the nylon-belts of that Officers to more flexible ones. But I even don't know, which model the new one was ... my male hips made no problems

    Womens Duty Belts

There are womens duty belts available. They are curved to fit the female form. I know this because I sell them here in Canada. They are only available in leather in plain or basketweave. Nylon is not an option as it cannot be cut into a curved shape. SA Uniform in Canada

Safariland also makes womens belts... the tops are a tad shorter so it has a bell like bevel to form to the hips more...

There are duty belts out there for females they are called Sally Browne Duty Belts they are hard to find. They have smaller waist sizes and are curved to fit your hips and waist.
