I have actually found spots of mold on the inside of my vest and along the seam where the vest is under my armpits. I called the mfr (First Choice Armor) and believe it or not: they want to replace the vest! Free! OK! Fine by me. I dried mine out, sprayed it with Febreeze and didn't lock it up in a trunk or anything.....I don't know how the mold got there; suffice it to say it did. I used a Clorox Bleach Pen to get rid of the actual spots. However, this did nothing for the rash I got. Talked to my Doctor and he said it was a fungal infection- from my vest! Long story short, I'm getting a replacement and will take MUCH better care to dry it out completely. Anyone who has a vest by First Choice ought to give them a call. I sent them an email and it was never responded to. I would call them. Good luck guys and BE SAFE!
