Yep . . . and it's autumn and we're having a week of 39C days = 102F. Can't remember the last time it rained, maybe a month ago we got 1/4 inch. :(
But that's Australia for you, we are a dry continent.

Well it is March '09 now, still no good rains, massive fires to the east of the state and it is autumn again with fire danger still very high. Lakes are drying up and rivers disappearing fast.

GM showed us the car they hope to export to the US . . .

The GM factory is about 15 minutes north of me (10 if I know there's no speed cameras around), but again, not an option for us. Pity but them's the breaks.

I've heard the US have ordered 10,000 of the beasties!!! Like you mate, we'll never see one on our streets, we'll have to stick to the Commodores. Mind you, I like my SS V8. NSW have the Ford XR6 Typhoon, they seem to be pretty peachy as well.
